Mr. Stephens shaped the company into a renowned electrical contractor, quickly earning a reputation for trustworthiness. David Bragg was that individual.

In the year 1982, Mr. Stephens asked Mr. Bragg to buy the enterprise. Certainly, David saw this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own such a reputable company and embraced the offer.

In 1986, David saw that the growing company needed to expand its reach, so he incorporated the electrical business under the name “Stephenville Electric, Inc.”.

I relocated to Stephenville to enroll at Tarleton State University, got married, had children, and decided to stay. I consider this town my home, and owning my own business brings me joy. Owning this business has given me opportunities to grow and develop not only my business but also a network of friends. Our journey began with electrical services and added Watson Insulation under our management. I am excited about future expansion this year with the introduction of solar energy solutions.
