Humphrey & Associates is a construction contracting firm primarily serving the northeast region of Texas. We began our journey in Dallas, Texas, on April 1, 1977, as an Electrical Contractor catering to the Dallas/Ft. Worth construction market. Since our inception, we have seen steady, controlled growth. Our teamwork and active participation in the construction community have enabled us to expand and diversify.

In April 1981, the Humphrey & Associates Inc. Stock Ownership Plan and Trust acquired fifty percent of the common stock not held by Steve Humphrey. Our employees, referred to as Associates, own 50 percent of the company stock. Employees begin to earn shares after one year of service, thus becoming part-owners of Humphrey & Associates. In 1981, we gifted half the stock to our employees through an employee stock ownership plan, truly making them the ""associates"" in the corporation.

Initially, H&A focused solely on electrical contracting and design projects in the Metroplex; we opened a branch office in Mt. Pleasant in 1986. In 1995, we added a mechanical group, providing customers with a complete MEP team package; later in the '90s, we opened a principal office in Fort Worth and another branch in Denton.
