Uniting people is central to Paul’s mission. From hosting cookouts on his deck, collecting fine whiskey, and brewing craft beer to supporting live music events and festivals, he is dedicated to gathering people to share experiences.

Paul, a classically trained trombonist, has an eclectic taste in music, appreciating everything from Bach to Metallica, Cake, Jared & The Mill, and a variety of lesser-known artists. He plays with the Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra, Dem Bones—a trombone quartet, and Bone Wagon—a brass rock ensemble.

In addition to running Lavallee Electrical Services, Paul has served as an advanced-level electrical instructor at the Mississippi Construction Education Foundation for the past five years.

Paul and his wife are in the process of remodeling a home in Clinton, and he’s probably grilling a pork loin this evening.

Originally, I started as a paintless dent repair service for vehicles affected by hail damage. I was a subcontractor for PDR Lynx, a professional company, for roughly five years. I used to offer Handy services in my downtime, but now I wish to slow my pace and engage in work that brings me joy. I pride myself on being a professional who respects the original design and execution of my tasks.

I subcontracted with the Handy app for four years in Gulfport, Mississippi, covering areas from New Orleans to the Alabama coast. My work includes installing, repairing, or replacing electrical garage doors, roof repairs, sheetrock refinishing, vinyl siding repairs, appliance fixes, electrical outlets, plumbing repairs, and the installation of products ordered online. In San Diego, CA, I became a certified carpenter, and in Las Vegas, NV, I earned my maintenance technician certification. I started my journey at 16 in Job Corps, and at 17, I went to maintenance school in Las Vegas, where I gained skills in texturing, priming, refinishing, electrical work, appliance repair, A/C troubleshooting, and plumbing installation and repair. When I turned 20, I moved to Hattiesburg, Mississippi, got married, and raised my children. I spent six years managing a furniture store, where I also sought side jobs in the fields I had trained in. My next role was as a successful automotive painter for six years, during which I learned bodywork and collision repair, and I did that for over ten years. Eventually, I became a PDR technician, chasing storms for about ten years, and during my downtime, I did handyman work. For the last five years, I operated out of Gulfport, and I have now decided to make the move to Jackson. Now, I find myself here, relishing another beautiful day.
