Uniting people is central to Paul’s mission. From hosting cookouts on his deck, collecting fine whiskey, and brewing craft beer to supporting live music events and festivals, he is dedicated to gathering people to share experiences.

Paul is a trained trombonist with a diverse taste in music, ranging from Bach to Metallica, Cake, Jared & The Mill, and a collection of lesser-known bands. He performs with the Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra, Dem Bones—a trombone quartet, and Bone Wagon—a brass rock band.

In addition to running Lavallee Electrical Services, Paul has served as an advanced-level electrical instructor at the Mississippi Construction Education Foundation for the past five years.

Paul and his wife are currently renovating a home in Clinton, and he’s likely grilling a pork loin tonight.

Originally, I started as a paintless dent repair service for vehicles affected by hail damage. I was a subcontractor for PDR Lynx, a professional company, for roughly five years. I used to offer Handy services in my downtime, but now I wish to slow my pace and engage in work that brings me joy. I pride myself on being a professional who respects the original design and execution of my tasks.

For four years, I worked as a subcontractor with the Handy app in Gulfport, MS, serving regions from New Orleans to the Alabama coastline. I have installed, repaired, or replaced electrical garage doors, roof repairs, sheetrock repairs and refinishing, vinyl siding repairs, appliance repairs, electrical receptacles, plumbing repairs, and installations of online-ordered products. I am proud to have received a multitude of five-star ratings for my work.

In San Diego, CA, I became a certified carpenter, and in Las Vegas, NV, I earned my maintenance technician certification. I started my journey at 16 in Job Corps, and at 17, I went to maintenance school in Las Vegas, where I gained skills in texturing, priming, refinishing, electrical work, appliance repair, A/C troubleshooting, and plumbing installation and repair. When I turned 20, I moved to Hattiesburg, Mississippi, got married, and raised my children. For six years, I managed a furniture store and pursued side work in the areas I had learned about. My next role was as a successful automotive painter for six years, during which I learned bodywork and collision repair, and I did that for over ten years. Later, I worked as a PDR technician for about ten years, following storms, and in my spare time, I took on handyman jobs. For the last five years, I operated out of Gulfport, and I have now decided to make the move to Jackson. Now, I find myself here, relishing another beautiful day. Please support your local expert.
