My journey started in high school by competing in residential electrical competitions. I competed at the regional, state, and national stages. I was able to achieve state champion two years in a row for Georgia and secured third in the nationwide contest. From that point on, I dreamed of establish my own residential electrical service. Having worked under many skilled electricians for years, I decided it was time to start my own venture. In 2019, I met and got married in 2022. We had our beautiful daughter, Stella Grace, in 2023, which slowed down my business plans. I’ve always done electrical jobs in my spare time to care for my growing family. However, it has always been my passion to take on electrical work full-time. So here I am with Oshields Electric. This is my commitment to better my family’s life and with the hope of making a difference in everyone I interact with.

I was raised in the North Georgia area. From my high school competition days and my time in the electrical trade after finishing school, I’ve developed a strong love for this craft. I also worked commercial and large-scale electrical work as an employee of Georgia Power. But, nothing fulfills me like engaging in home electrical services. Interacting with clients directly is always my most rewarding part of this work. I know that developing personal connections with my clients is just as vital as establishing a business relationship. I’ve never wanted to just another electrical contractor who comes at your home, finishes the task, and only discusses how much you owe.
