I first got involved in high school by competing in residential electrical competitions. I competed at the local, statewide, and national levels. I had the chance to achieve first place in the state back-to-back for Georgia and achieved a top-three finish in the national competition. Ever since, I was determined to start my own residential electrical service. After gaining experience under numerous talented electricians for years, I felt it was time to begin my own journey. I was introduced to my amazing wife, Taylor, in 2019 and we married in 2022. Our daughter, Stella Grace, was born in 2023, which put a hold on my business plans. I kept doing electrical projects in my spare time to support my little family. However, it has always been my dream to take on electrical work full-time. And here I stand with Oshields Electric. This marks my journey to enhance my family’s life and with the hope of positively impacting everyone I serve.

I was raised in North Georgia. Since my days in high school competitions and my time in the electrical industry after finishing school, I’ve harbored a deep passion for electrical work. I also worked commercial and industrial electrical work as an electrician of Georgia Power. Yet, nothing gives me more pride engaging in domestic electrical tasks. Meeting customers face-to-face is always my most rewarding part of this job. I know that building personal relationships with my clients is equally important as maintaining a professional rapport. I refuse to be one more electrical contractor who arrives at your home, does the job, and only talks about how much you owe. I hold the belief that you can be a competent business owner while also delivering the understanding that is often missing in today’s market.
