I first got involved in my teenage years through participation in electrical contests. I competed at the regional, statewide, and nationally stages. I was fortunate to win the state title two years in a row for Georgia and achieved third in the nationwide contest. From that point on, I had a desire to establish my own residential electrical service. Having worked under various experienced electricians for years, I decided it was time to start my own venture. In 2019, I met and got married in 2022. In 2023, we welcomed our daughter, Stella Grace, which temporarily paused my business plans. I continued to do electrical projects on the side to care for my little family. Still, it has always been my goal to take on electrical work full-time. So here I am with Oshields Electric. This is my step to improve my family’s life and with the hope of making a difference in everyone I interact with.

I was born and raised in the North Georgia area. Since my days in high school competitions and my experience in the electrical trade after finishing school, I’ve harbored a strong love for electrical work. I have experience in commercial and industrial electrical work as an associate of Georgia Power. Yet, nothing brings me greater satisfaction engaging in domestic electrical tasks. Meeting customers face-to-face is forever my most rewarding part of this work. I know that building personal relationships with my clients is just as vital as establishing a professional rapport. I don’t aim to one more electrical contractor who arrives at your home, finishes the task, and only discusses how much you owe. I am convinced that you can operate a successful business while also providing the compassion that many places lack today.
