I first got involved in my teenage years through participation in residential electrical competitions. I participated at the district, statewide, and national levels. I was fortunate to achieve first place in the state back-to-back for Georgia and achieved third in the national competition. Since then, I had a desire to start my own electrical business. After gaining experience under various experienced electricians for years, I knew it was time to go out on my own. I met my wonderful wife, Taylor, in 2019 and tied the knot in 2022. Our daughter, Stella Grace, was born in 2023, which slowed down my business plans. I kept doing electrical jobs in my spare time to help provide for my little family. Still, it has always been my passion to pursue electrical work full-time. So here I am with Oshields Electric. This marks my journey to better my family’s life and ideally making a difference in everyone I serve.

I was born and raised in the North Georgia area. From my high school competition days and my time in the electrical field after graduation, I’ve nurtured a deep passion for electrical work. I used to do corporate and large-scale electrical work as an electrician of Georgia Power. But, nothing gives me more pride engaging in home electrical services. Having personal conversations with customers is always my favorite part of this work. I know that developing personal connections with my clients is equally important as maintaining a professional relationship. I’ve never wanted to one more electrical contractor who shows up at your home, completes the work, and only discusses how much you owe.
