I first got involved in my teenage years through participation in electrical competitions. I competed at the local, state, and nationally stages. I had the chance to achieve state champion two years in a row for Georgia and placed a top-three finish in the nationwide contest. Since then, I was determined to establish my own electrical business. Having worked under various experienced electricians for years, I felt it was time to begin my own journey. I was introduced to my amazing wife, Taylor, in 2019 and we married in 2022. Our daughter, Stella Grace, was born in 2023, which temporarily paused my business plans. I kept doing electrical jobs part-time to care for my young family. However, it has always been my dream to pursue electrical work full-time. So here I am with Oshields Electric. This is my commitment to enhance my family’s life and hopefully improving the lives of everyone I meet.

I was raised in North Georgia. Since my days in high school competitions and working in the electrical trade after graduation, I’ve harbored a genuine enthusiasm for this craft. I also worked corporate and industrial electrical work as an electrician of Georgia Power. Yet, nothing gives me more pride engaging in domestic electrical tasks. Interacting with clients directly is always my most rewarding part of this profession. I believe that developing personal connections with my clients is equally important as establishing a professional rapport. I don’t aim to just another electrical contractor who shows up at your home, finishes the task, and only talks about how much you owe. I hold the belief that you can operate a successful business while also offering the care that is often missing in today’s market.
