I first got involved in high school through participation in residential electrical competitions. I participated at the district, statewide, and national stages. I was fortunate to win the state title two years in a row for Georgia and secured third in the nationwide contest. Ever since, I had a desire to start my own electrical company. Following my time under many skilled electricians for years, I knew it was time to start my own venture. I met my wonderful wife, Taylor, in 2019 and got married in 2022. In 2023, we welcomed our daughter, Stella Grace, which put a hold on my business plans. I continued to do electrical jobs in my spare time to help provide for my little family. Still, it has always been my dream to dedicate myself to electrical work full-time. Now, I am with Oshields Electric. This is my commitment to better my family’s life and ideally positively impacting everyone I interact with.

I grew up in North Georgia. Since my days in high school competitions and my time in the electrical industry after finishing school, I’ve nurtured a strong love for this craft. I have experience in commercial and heavy-duty electrical work as an electrician of Georgia Power. Yet, nothing gives me more pride performing home electrical services. Having personal conversations with customers is always my most rewarding part of this job. I know that developing personal connections with my clients is of equal significance as maintaining a professional relationship.
