My journey started in secondary school by competing in electrical contests. I participated at the district, statewide, and national stages. I had the chance to win state champion consecutively for two years for Georgia and secured a top-three finish in the national competition. Ever since, I had a desire to start my own electrical business. Following my time under many skilled electricians for years, I knew it was time to go out on my own. I was introduced to my amazing wife, Taylor, in 2019 and we married in 2022. Our daughter, Stella Grace, was born in 2023, which temporarily paused my business plans. I continued to do electrical work part-time to help provide for my little family. Still, it has always been my dream to dedicate myself to electrical work full-time. Now, I am with Oshields Electric. This marks my journey to improve my family’s life and with the hope of positively impacting everyone I serve.

I was raised in the North Georgia area. From my high school competition days and my experience in the electrical industry after graduation, I’ve developed a genuine enthusiasm for this craft. I also worked commercial and industrial electrical work as an employee of Georgia Power. However, nothing brings me greater satisfaction performing residential electrical work. Having personal conversations with customers is consistently my preferred part of this profession. I feel that building personal relationships with my clients is of equal significance as maintaining a professional relationship.
