I first got involved in secondary school through participation in residential electrical competitions. I competed at the local, statewide, and national levels. I was fortunate to achieve first place in the state two years in a row for Georgia and placed third in the nationwide contest. Ever since, I had a desire to start my own electrical company. After gaining experience under various experienced electricians for years, I knew it was time to begin my own journey. I was introduced to my amazing wife, Taylor, in 2019 and we married in 2022. Our daughter, Stella Grace, was born in 2023, which temporarily paused my business plans. I continued to do electrical projects in my spare time to support my little family. Yet, it has always been my passion to pursue electrical work full-time. Now, I am with Oshields Electric. This is my commitment to improve my family’s life and ideally making a difference in everyone I meet.

I was born and raised in North Georgia. From my high school competition days and my time in the electrical industry after finishing school, I’ve harbored a genuine enthusiasm for the electrical trade. I also worked corporate and large-scale electrical work as an electrician of Georgia Power. Yet, nothing brings me greater satisfaction engaging in home electrical services. Interacting with clients directly is always my preferred part of this work. I believe that building personal relationships with my clients is equally important as upholding a business relationship. I refuse to be one more electrical contractor who shows up at your home, completes the work, and only focuses on how much you owe. I hold the belief that you can be a competent business owner while also offering the understanding that many places lack today.
