I began my journey in secondary school by competing in electrical competitions. I competed at the district, state, and nationally stages. I had the chance to win the state title consecutively for two years for Georgia and placed third in the national event. Ever since, I was determined to establish my own electrical company. Following my time under various experienced electricians for years, I felt it was time to go out on my own. I met my wonderful wife, Taylor, in 2019 and tied the knot in 2022. In 2023, we welcomed our daughter, Stella Grace, which slowed down my business plans. I kept doing electrical work in my spare time to help provide for my little family. Yet, it has always been my passion to pursue electrical work full-time. And here I stand with Oshields Electric. This marks my journey to better my family’s life and ideally positively impacting everyone I interact with.

I was born and raised in North Georgia. Since my days in high school competitions and my time in the electrical industry after graduation, I’ve developed a strong love for this craft. I also worked business and heavy-duty electrical work as an associate of Georgia Power. But, nothing gives me more pride doing domestic electrical tasks. Meeting customers face-to-face is consistently my favorite part of this work. I believe that building personal relationships with my clients is equally important as establishing a professional rapport. I refuse to be just another electrical contractor who shows up at your home, does the job, and only focuses on how much you owe. I hold the belief that you can operate a successful business while also offering the compassion that many places lack today.
