Jerry L Martin, the president and license holder, originally hails from Highland, Indiana. In 1970, following his father's retirement, the family moved to Lee County, Florida. Jerry attended Ft Myers Middle School and graduated from Ft Myers High School in 1977. Over the years, Jerry has actively supported youth athletics in Lee County. He has coached youth soccer for the Cape Coral Soccer Association and youth basketball with the Youth Basketball Association of Lee County (YBA). Moreover, he is a supporter of Bishop Verot High School and its athletic programs.

Debbie Martin, our secretary/treasurer, is a transplant from Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Her family moved to Lee County, Florida in 1972 due to a job transfer. Debbie is a 1979 graduate of Ft Myers High School and has a BS degree in Finance from the University of South Florida.

Jerry and Debbie met in 1980 and tied the knot in 1982. Their only child, Nick, was born in 1984. In 2003, Nick graduated from Bishop Verot High School and went on to graduate from the University of South Florida in 2008.

In 1990, I began offering lighting products and repairs under the fire equipment name, and the business continued to expand until I established a new company, West Coast Lighting of SW FL, in January 2001. In 2015, we changed our name to West Coast Electrical & Lighting Services to better align with our current operations. I am trained in using specialized tools to identify electrical issues and bring over 25 years of experience to the table.
