He instilled the belief that every individual deserves to be treated with respect and kindness, just because they are human.
My grandfather passed this strong ethic to my father, Kenneth Tarr, who left the family farm in 1954 with little money but big aspirations. Though he had little, he upheld the family legacy of hard work and dedication. His dedication led him to master the electrical trade, which he then taught to me. I began working in electrical tasks at eight, guided by his teachings. I, too, was fortunate to have a son, allowing me to continue our family legacy.
