Founded in the fall of 1987, Industrial Electric Testing originated as the testing sector of Industrial Electric Construction Company in the state of Florida. James T. Hill, then the Chairman and Owner of IET, subsequently bought Industrial, establishing it as a standalone testing firm.

IET is a proud full member of the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA), an ANSI standards organization that includes independent electrical testing companies throughout North America and Canada. Being a full member of NETA allows IET to operate as an impartial testing authority, free from the influence of manufacturers, suppliers, and installers of the equipment or systems being assessed.

The headquarters of Industrial is located in Jacksonville, Florida, catering to the northern, central, and western areas of Florida, as well as southern Georgia. We have maintained a branch office in Hallandale since 1994 to serve the southern part of Florida. Our qualified team ensures that every project is completed expertly and on time. In 1988, we incorporated as EG Pump Controls. Prior to this, the EG group functioned as part of Electromate Corporation, established in 1969. Following the sale of Electromate, we retained the controls division under private ownership and incorporated in 1988.
