Industrial Electric Testing was established in Florida during the autumn of 1987 as the testing branch of Industrial Electric Construction Company. After purchasing Industrial, James T. Hill, the Chairman and Owner of IET, turned it into an independent testing organization.

IET is a proud full member of the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA), an ANSI standards organization that includes independent electrical testing companies throughout North America and Canada. As a full member of NETA, IET serves as an unbiased testing authority, independent of manufacturers, suppliers, and installers of the systems or equipment under evaluation.

The headquarters of Industrial is located in Jacksonville, Florida, catering to the northern, central, and western areas of Florida, as well as southern Georgia. Since 1994, we have operated a branch office in Hallandale to support the southern region of the state. With a professional workforce, we ensure that all projects are completed in a timely and expert manner. We offer emergency services to all clients 24/7, 365 days a year.

Industrial Electric Testing employs only test equipment that is in excellent mechanical and electrical condition. IET reports any defects in systems, materials, or workmanship found during acceptance or maintenance tests, maintains written records of all tests, and assembles and certifies a comprehensive final technical test report.

Our expertise lies in custom applications, crafting products that meet specific requirements while remaining cost-effective. Numerous products in our lineup are standard, equipped with established control technology and unparalleled value-added features. To uphold high standards of quality and consistency, we manage all aspects of our projects in-house. Our engineers and programmers take charge of product design, production, testing, start-up, and training, making technical support readily available. EG Controls was established in 1988 as EG Pump Controls. Prior to this, the EG group functioned as part of Electromate Corporation, established in 1969. Once Electromate was sold, we maintained the controls division privately and incorporated it in 1988.

EG Controls operates from 11790 Philips Highway in Jacksonville, Florida. Our operations are housed in an 18,000 square foot facility across three acres.
