Incorporated in the fall of 1987, Industrial Electric Testing began as the testing division of Industrial Electric Construction Company in Florida. James T. Hill, who was the Chairman of the Board and Owner of IET, later acquired Industrial and transformed it into an independent testing entity.

IET proudly holds full membership in the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA), an ANSI standards organization comprised of independent electrical testing companies across North America and Canada. Being a full member of NETA allows IET to operate as an impartial testing authority, free from the influence of manufacturers, suppliers, and installers of the equipment or systems being assessed.

The headquarters of Industrial is located in Jacksonville, Florida, catering to the northern, central, and western areas of Florida, as well as southern Georgia. EG Controls is a UL508A & UL698 custom panel manufacturing facility. We employ skilled professionals who excel in the design and production of pump controls. We focus on custom applications and create products tailored to specifications at competitive rates. To uphold high standards of quality and consistency, we manage all aspects of our projects in-house. Product design, production, testing, start-up, and training are conducted by our engineers and programmers, ensuring easy access to technical support. The company was founded in 1988 under the name EG Pump Controls. Before our incorporation, the EG group was a division of Electromate Corporation, which began operations in 1969. After the sale of Electromate, the controls division was kept under private ownership and incorporated in 1988.

We are based at 11790 Philips Highway in Jacksonville, Florida. We occupy an 18,000 sq ft facility situated on three acres.
