Incorporated in the fall of 1987, Industrial Electric Testing began as the testing division of Industrial Electric Construction Company in Florida. After purchasing Industrial, James T. Hill, the Chairman and Owner of IET, turned it into an independent testing organization.

IET is a proud full member of the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA), an ANSI standards organization that includes independent electrical testing companies throughout North America and Canada. Being a full member of NETA allows IET to operate as an impartial testing authority, free from the influence of manufacturers, suppliers, and installers of the equipment or systems being assessed.

In 1988, we incorporated as EG Pump Controls. Before this, the EG group operated as a division of Electromate Corporation, which was founded in 1969. Following the sale of Electromate, we retained the controls division under private ownership and incorporated in 1988.

EG Controls operates from 11790 Philips Highway in Jacksonville, Florida. Our operations are housed in an 18,000 square foot facility across three acres.
