Industrial Electric Testing was established in Florida during the autumn of 1987 as the testing branch of Industrial Electric Construction Company. James T. Hill, then the Chairman and Owner of IET, subsequently bought Industrial, establishing it as a standalone testing firm.

IET is a proud full member of the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA), an ANSI standards organization that includes independent electrical testing companies throughout North America and Canada. Being a full member of NETA allows IET to operate as an impartial testing authority, free from the influence of manufacturers, suppliers, and installers of the equipment or systems being assessed.

The headquarters of Industrial is located in Jacksonville, Florida, catering to the northern, central, and western areas of Florida, as well as southern Georgia. We have maintained a branch office in Hallandale since 1994 to serve the southern part of Florida. Our qualified team ensures that every project is completed expertly and on time. EG Controls was established in 1988 as EG Pump Controls. Before our incorporation, the EG group was a division of Electromate Corporation, which began operations in 1969. After the sale of Electromate, the controls division was kept under private ownership and incorporated in 1988.

Our headquarters is located at 11790 Philips Highway in Jacksonville, Florida. We occupy an 18,000 sq ft facility situated on three acres.
