Following high school, Jerry L Martin, the president and license holder, made the choice to follow his uncles into the electrical trade. After five years in the industry, he became a licensed journeyman electrician and obtained his master electrician's license in 1986. At that point, he made the decision to start his own business.

Jerry L Martin, the president and license holder, originally hails from Highland, Indiana. In 1970, following his father's retirement, the family moved to Lee County, Florida. Jerry attended Ft Myers Middle School and graduated from Ft Myers High School in 1977. Over the years, Jerry has actively supported youth athletics in Lee County. He has coached youth soccer with the Cape Coral Soccer Association and youth basketball through the Youth Basketball Association of Lee County (YBA). Additionally, he supports Bishop Verot High School and its athletic programs.

The secretary/treasurer, Debbie Martin, comes from Elizabethtown, Kentucky. In 1972, her family relocated to Lee County, Florida, because of a job transfer. Debbie is a 1979 graduate of Ft Myers High School and has a BS degree in Finance from the University of South Florida.

Jerry and Debbie crossed paths in 1980 and got married in 1982. They welcomed their only child, Nick, in 1984. Nick graduated from Bishop Verot High School in 2003 and from the University of South Florida in 2008.
