After graduating high school, Jerry L Martin, the president and license holder, decided to pursue a career in the electrical field, inspired by his uncles. He spent five years in the trade before becoming a licensed journeyman electrician and earning his master electrician's license in 1986. At that point, he made the decision to start his own business.

Jerry L Martin, the president and license holder, originally hails from Highland, Indiana. In 1970, his father retired, prompting the family to move to Lee County, Florida. He went to Ft Myers Middle School and graduated from Ft Myers High School in 1977. Jerry has dedicated time to supporting youth athletics in Lee County over the years. Jerry has been a youth soccer coach in the Cape Coral Soccer Association and has also coached youth basketball through the Youth Basketball Association of Lee County (YBA). He also provides support to Bishop Verot High School and its athletic teams.

Debbie Martin, the secretary/treasurer, is originally from Elizabethtown, Kentucky. In 1972, her family relocated to Lee County, Florida, because of a job transfer. Debbie is a 1979 graduate of Ft Myers High School and has a BS degree in Finance from the University of South Florida.

Jerry and Debbie crossed paths in 1980 and got married in 1982. Their only child, Nick, was born in 1984. Nick graduated from Bishop Verot High School in 2003 and from the University of South Florida in 2008.
