After graduating high school, Jerry L Martin, the president and license holder, decided to pursue a career in the electrical field, inspired by his uncles. After five years in the industry, he became a licensed journeyman electrician and obtained his master electrician's license in 1986. At that point, he made the decision to start his own business.

The president and license holder, Jerry L Martin, is originally from Highland, Indiana. In 1970, his father retired, prompting the family to move to Lee County, Florida. Jerry attended Ft Myers Middle School and graduated from Ft Myers High School in 1977. Throughout the years, Jerry has been involved in supporting youth sports in Lee County. He has coached youth soccer with the Cape Coral Soccer Association and youth basketball through the Youth Basketball Association of Lee County (YBA). Moreover, he is a supporter of Bishop Verot High School and its athletic programs.

Debbie Martin, the secretary/treasurer, is originally from Elizabethtown, Kentucky. In 1972, her family relocated to Lee County, Florida, because of a job transfer. Debbie graduated from Ft Myers High School in 1979 and holds a BS degree in Finance from the University of South Florida.

Jerry and Debbie met in 1980 and tied the knot in 1982. In 1984, they had their only child, Nick. Nick graduated from Bishop Verot High School in 2003 and from the University of South Florida in 2008.
