Jerry L Martin, our president and license holder, comes from Highland, Indiana. In 1970, following his father's retirement, the family moved to Lee County, Florida. Jerry completed his education at Ft Myers Middle School and graduated from Ft Myers High School in 1977. Throughout the years, Jerry has been involved in supporting youth sports in Lee County. He has coached youth soccer with the Cape Coral Soccer Association and youth basketball through the Youth Basketball Association of Lee County (YBA). Additionally, he supports Bishop Verot High School and its athletic programs.

Debbie Martin, the secretary/treasurer, is originally from Elizabethtown, Kentucky. In 1972, her family relocated to Lee County, Florida, because of a job transfer. She graduated from Ft Myers High School in 1979 and earned a BS degree in Finance from the University of South Florida.

Jerry and Debbie met in 1980 and tied the knot in 1982. They welcomed their only child, Nick, in 1984. Nick completed his education at Bishop Verot High School in 2003 and graduated from the University of South Florida in 2008.

In 1990, I began offering lighting products and repairs under the fire equipment name, and the business continued to expand until I established a new company, West Coast Lighting of SW FL, in January 2001. In 2015, we changed our name to West Coast Electrical & Lighting Services to better align with our current operations. I have received training in specialized equipment to diagnose electrical problems and have over 25 years of experience in this area.
