Jerry L Martin, our president and license holder, comes from Highland, Indiana. In 1970, his father retired, prompting the family to move to Lee County, Florida. He went to Ft Myers Middle School and graduated from Ft Myers High School in 1977. Over the years, Jerry has actively supported youth athletics in Lee County. Jerry has been a youth soccer coach in the Cape Coral Soccer Association and has also coached youth basketball through the Youth Basketball Association of Lee County (YBA). Additionally, he supports Bishop Verot High School and its athletic programs.

Debbie Martin, our secretary/treasurer, is a transplant from Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Her family moved to Lee County, Florida in 1972 due to a job transfer. Debbie is a 1979 graduate of Ft Myers High School and has a BS degree in Finance from the University of South Florida.

Jerry and Debbie met in 1980 and tied the knot in 1982. In 1984, they had their only child, Nick. Nick graduated from Bishop Verot High School in 2003 and from the University of South Florida in 2008.

In 1990, I began selling lighting products and performing repairs under the fire equipment name, and the business flourished until I created a new entity, West Coast Lighting of SW FL, in January 2001. In 2015, we rebranded to West Coast Electrical & Lighting Services to better represent our current offerings. I have received training in specialized equipment to diagnose electrical problems and have over 25 years of experience in this area. We are the go-to company when others cannot resolve the issue.
