Jerry L Martin, the president and license holder, originally hails from Highland, Indiana. In 1970, his father retired, prompting the family to move to Lee County, Florida. Jerry attended Ft Myers Middle School and graduated from Ft Myers High School in 1977. Over the years, Jerry has actively supported youth athletics in Lee County. Jerry has been a youth soccer coach in the Cape Coral Soccer Association and has also coached youth basketball through the Youth Basketball Association of Lee County (YBA). He also provides support to Bishop Verot High School and its athletic teams.

The secretary/treasurer, Debbie Martin, comes from Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Debbie's family moved to Lee County, Florida, in 1972 as a result of a job transfer. Debbie graduated from Ft Myers High School in 1979 and holds a BS degree in Finance from the University of South Florida.

Jerry and Debbie met in 1980 and tied the knot in 1982. They welcomed their only child, Nick, in 1984. Nick completed his education at Bishop Verot High School in 2003 and graduated from the University of South Florida in 2008.

In 1990, I began selling lighting products and performing repairs under the fire equipment name, and the business flourished until I created a new entity, West Coast Lighting of SW FL, in January 2001. In 2015, we changed our name to West Coast Electrical & Lighting Services to better align with our current operations. I am trained in using specialized tools to identify electrical issues and bring over 25 years of experience to the table.
