After graduating college in 1981, I started working at Dan's Fan City. Seven years on, I was presented with the chance to start my own store in Naples. Consequently, Fan Depot started operating in December 1988, taking over a location that Dan's Fan City had vacated. It quickly became clear that I needed to provide installation services, as our customers frequently requested installer recommendations and I noticed the subpar work done by electricians and handymen. Combining the sale with the installation served everyone well, as we consistently took responsibility. It was straightforward.

In September 2006, we adopted the name Naples Lighting & Fan Depot to better align with our product range. This rebranding served as a springboard for continuous record sales. The fans and new LED lighting styles of today require more than average electrical skills, and our installers are experts in every detail.
