In 1981, I entered the workforce at Dan's Fan City immediately after college. After seven years, I received the opportunity to open my own shop in Naples. Thus, Fan Depot opened its doors in December 1988, in a space previously occupied by Dan's Fan City. I soon realized that offering installation was essential, as customers often asked for installer referrals and I observed the inadequate work performed by electricians and handymen. Linking the sale with the installation was beneficial for everyone, as we always took responsibility. It was straightforward.

In September 2006, we adopted the name Naples Lighting & Fan Depot to better align with our product range. This rebranding served as a springboard for continuous record sales. Today's fans and modern LED lighting styles demand more than basic electrical knowledge, and our installers excel in all aspects.
