In 1985, I started my career in the electrical sector by studying at Los Angeles Trade and Technical College. While working as an apprentice in the afternoons, I finished a two-year Electrical Construction and Maintenance program. I transitioned to Mammoth Lakes in 1988, starting my career as a ski lift electrician at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area. My duties included constructing and maintaining ski lifts, managing water systems, and overseeing the building of the snowmaking compressor facility and pump stations. I also created and implemented new control systems for many of the existing ski lifts. In 1999, I decided to focus on my contracting business, stepping away from the ski area, and I have been committed to the Eastern Sierra ever since.
