My journey in the electrical industry began in 1985 when I enrolled at Los Angeles Trade and Technical College. I worked as an apprentice in the afternoons while completing a two-year program in Electrical Construction and Maintenance. I transitioned to Mammoth Lakes in 1988, starting my career as a ski lift electrician at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area. I was responsible for the construction and upkeep of ski lifts, water systems, and the development of the snowmaking compressor building and pump stations. I also created and implemented new control systems for many of the existing ski lifts. In 1999, I decided to focus on my contracting business, stepping away from the ski area, and I have been committed to the Eastern Sierra ever since.
