As the owner, I have dedicated my career to learning and working in San Luis Obispo. My journey started with an associate's degree in Electrical Technology from Cuesta College. It taught me the basics of electricity along with crucial elements for running a successful business. After completing my degree, I pursued my journeyman's certification and gained experience in various electrical settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial. Bill earned his Electrical Engineering degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Edward pursued a BS in Industrial Technology at Cal Poly. In 1989, the sons purchased the business from Clarence and his wife. Electrical Engineering was integrated into our services in 1981 and has expanded consistently since then. We usually employ between 60 and 70 staff, reaching a high of 150 during a five-story hospital project for Marian Hospital in Santa Maria in 2011. Thoma Electric encompasses divisions for Electrical Engineering, Major Electrical Construction, Small Electrical Construction, and Electrical Service. “All projects are significant, regardless of size”.
