After my military service, I joined an electrical apprenticeship in the greater Los Angeles region, learning the trade on significant commercial projects such as the LA/USC County Hospital and the LAX International Terminal Replacement. Once I wrapped up my five-year apprenticeship, I headed to San Luis Obispo to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, majoring in Electrical Engineering. Living on the central coast made me realize I wanted to stay here for good, and the rest is history!

For 17 years, I played a role in developing a national construction company (REC Solar), where the residential segment transitioned into SunRun and the commercial division was purchased by the largest utility provider in the country (Duke Energy). I established my own business in 2021 after leaving in December 2020, but I have been a licensed contractor since 2008, serving as the license holder for my last employer.
