After my military service, I joined an electrical apprenticeship in the greater Los Angeles region, learning the trade on significant commercial projects such as the LA/USC County Hospital and the LAX International Terminal Replacement. After completing my five-year apprenticeship, I moved to San Luis Obispo to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Once I settled on the central coast, I knew I wanted to make it my permanent home, and the rest is history!

I contributed to building a national construction firm (REC Solar) for 17 years, where the residential division evolved into SunRun and the commercial sector was acquired by the largest utility company in the U.S. (Duke Energy). In December 2020, I left to start my own company in 2021, but I have been a licensed contractor since 2008, having been the license holder for my former employer.
