I am the son of Calvin, a mason by trade, and I have memories of working alongside him since childhood. He eventually became a general contractor, constructing many houses. I carried bricks, blocks, and cement, assisting him with whatever he needed. When he built homes, I was there to lend a hand; I think I drilled my first electrical hole at age 7. Truthfully, I came to dislike construction as I aged and wanted to explore different avenues. While in college, I started a job with an electrical contractor that was initially intended to last only three days. I performed well and finished the job in just a day and a half. He mentioned that I could continue working if I kept myself busy. I realized I loved the work and had a talent for electrical wiring. Since I wanted to marry soon, I left school and worked full-time as an electrician. Fast forward 20+ years, I now own my own business, have been happily married for 24 years, and have six kids. I am grateful for all my blessings.
