My journey in the electrical industry began in 1985 when I enrolled at Los Angeles Trade and Technical College. I completed a two-year program in Electrical Construction and Maintenance while gaining hands-on experience as an apprentice in the afternoons. I transitioned to Mammoth Lakes in 1988, starting my career as a ski lift electrician at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area. My duties included constructing and maintaining ski lifts, managing water systems, and overseeing the building of the snowmaking compressor facility and pump stations. I designed and installed updated control systems for several existing ski lifts. In 1999, I made the decision to shift my focus to my contracting business, leaving the ski area, and I have proudly served the Eastern Sierra since then.
