In 1985, I started my career in the electrical sector by studying at Los Angeles Trade and Technical College. I worked as an apprentice in the afternoons while completing a two-year program in Electrical Construction and Maintenance. In 1988, I moved to Mammoth Lakes, where I took on the position of ski lift electrician for Mammoth Mountain Ski Area. I handled the construction and maintenance of ski lifts, water systems, and the establishment of the snowmaking compressor building and pump stations. I also created and implemented new control systems for many of the existing ski lifts. In 1999, I decided to focus on my contracting business, stepping away from the ski area, and I have been committed to the Eastern Sierra ever since.
