I started my construction career in high school, helping our elderly neighbors construct a home from an empty lot. I gained experience in Maintenance with the US Forest Service before enlisting in the Navy in '93. During my two years of training, I became a Nuclear Reactor Operator and Electronics Technician. Following my honorable discharge, I began my career at Kodak as an Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technician, later becoming a Trainer and then a Supervisor.

In '03, I made the move to Mammoth and started working in MMSA's Lift Maintenance Department. In '08, I obtained my C-10 Electrical license and established B.I.G.. By 2010, I committed to B.I.G. full-time. In 2012, I took on the role of President of the Mammoth Lakes Contractors Association and was appointed Commissioner of the Town's Building Advisory Committee and Construction Board of Appeals. In 2017, I obtained my General Contracting license, and I continue to keep my founding vision for B.I.G. at the forefront of my mind.
