He encouraged me to work alongside different tradesmen every summer while I was in high school. I started with my Godfather, who is an electrician. The following summer, I teamed up with a plumber and a land surveyor. In my third summer, I took on a ""project house"" to renovate and flip. Even though the financial return was small, I acquired a deep understanding of home systems. Finally, I worked with an HVAC company installing furnaces and air conditioning units. These experiences provided a solid base for my business.
