The following summer, I teamed up with a plumber and a land surveyor. That summer, I was given a ""project house"" to remodel and sell. Even though the financial return was small, I acquired a deep understanding of home systems. Lastly, I worked with an HVAC firm, where I installed new furnaces and air conditioning systems. These opportunities equipped me with a strong foundation for my own business.
