In 1985, I started my career in the electrical sector by studying at Los Angeles Trade and Technical College. I worked as an apprentice in the afternoons while completing a two-year program in Electrical Construction and Maintenance. In 1988, I moved to Mammoth Lakes, where I took on the position of ski lift electrician for Mammoth Mountain Ski Area. My duties included constructing and maintaining ski lifts, managing water systems, and overseeing the building of the snowmaking compressor facility and pump stations. I also created and implemented new control systems for many of the existing ski lifts. In 1999, I decided to focus on my contracting business, stepping away from the ski area, and I have been committed to the Eastern Sierra ever since.
