Joe Petranka, born in Montgomery, Alabama, began his career as an electrician in 1969 with the mentorship of Griffin T. Key PE. In 1977, he obtained his Master Electricians Certificate and dedicated more than 20 years to designing and supervising electrical systems up to 15KV. He was a pioneer in the introduction of energy-efficient lighting solutions and network installations using copper and fiber in the River Region as early as the 1970s and 1980s.
