During 1972 Chuck Turner join as a stakeholder of Tennis Jackson Electric Company and expanded intrusion detection design and implementation. The year 1978 marked the division of the firm's security services from the electrical services, and in 1982 it became the dedicated security branch. During that year, JSS acquired a local security firm in Tuscaloosa.

The year 1988 saw, he took ownership of both the electric and safety divisions and merged the companies. The year 1992 marked, Turner's son, Brad was designated as Vice President of Jackson Security Services, and the year 2000, Jim Essary was recruited as Vice President and General Manager.
