During 1972 Chuck Turner as a partner of Tennis Jackson Electric Company and developed alarm system design and implementation. By 1978 the division of the firm's protection offerings from the power division, and in 1982 it became Jackson Security Services. In that same year, JSS purchased a local security firm in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
During 1988, Chuck Turner took ownership of both the electrical and security services and merged the companies. The year 1992 marked, Brad Turner was named Vice President of Jackson Security Services, and by 2000, Essary was hired as the General Manager and Vice President.
The year 2014 marked, Jackson Electric Services joined forces with a comparable firm in the Tuscaloosa vicinity. Today, Jackson Security Services continues its focus to quality. He is still guiding the company as the VP and General Manager.
