The year 1972 saw Chuck Turner join as a stakeholder of Tennis Jackson Electric Company and developed security system design and setup. By 1978 the separation of the firm's security services from the power division, and in 1982 it became Jackson Security Services. During that year, JSS purchased a local security firm in the Tuscaloosa area.
The year 1988 saw, Chuck Turner took ownership of both the electric and safety divisions and merged the companies. The year 1992 marked, Brad Turner was named to the role of Vice President of Jackson Security Services, and the year 2000, Jim Essary was recruited as Vice President and General Manager.
