The year 1972 saw a new partner, Chuck Turner as a co-owner of the electric company and expanded security system design and installation. In 1978 the separation of the firm's protection offerings from the electric side, and in the following year it became the dedicated security branch. In that same year, JSS acquired a local security firm in the Tuscaloosa area.
During 1988, Chuck Turner took ownership of both the electrical and safety divisions and integrated the companies. The year 1992 marked, Turner's son, Brad was appointed to the role of Vice President of Jackson Security Services, and the year 2000, Jim Essary was hired as the General Manager and Vice President.
The year 2014 marked, Jackson Electric Services joined forces with a comparable firm in the Tuscaloosa vicinity. Currently, Jackson Security Services remains its dedication to excellence. Jim Essary continues to lead the company as General Manager and Vice President.
