Kevin came on time and helped me move furniture in my family room, lay and trim the rug pad, and lay the rug over the pad. Then he moved the furniture back. Next he wall mounted my tv. Then he sanded and stained my old 1943 Singer treadle sewing machine cabinet.
All professionally done with no wasted time! I won't hesitate to call on My Neighborhood Handyman again and I highly recommend this fine company!

We HIGHLY recommend Will and Kevin, Will's helper, hands down!! Will came to our house when we first moved in 2 1/2 years ago and did an excellent job tweaking the things that made our house a home. He hung my mother's ginormous mirror in the entrance way. What impressed me the most was Will checking if slamming the front door would take down the mirror. This mirror isn't going anywhere!! Large TV's installed throughout the house, etc. He thinks of everything. Kevin was here on Monday to help us decide if we should have sails or shades on our bedroom and bathroom windows. This room is the hottest room in the house. Kevin left, picked up shades which complement the color of our house and installed them in no time! You will never need another handyman. These guys are the best. Thank you!!!

I recommend! From scheduling to invoicing--and everything in between--Will and Kevin were professional, detail-oriented, friendly, responsive, and did good work.

(April 2023) I needed a complex, two-chamber dog crate built and a ceiling fan replaced. Kevin did both in a timely, professional, and quality manner. I am happy with the work and will use Will and Kevin again!

(July 2022) I had two chandeliers removed, new light fixtures installed, and some other minor installation work and plumbing. For example, when installing a vacuum charging station, Kevin made sure all the extra wires were neatly wrapped and put away without me asking. In my experience, that care and detail are uncommon when working with handypersons. I will hire them again.

I had a positive experience hiring Will to complete some repairs at my house in Bakersfield. They were completed quickly and to my satisfaction. I needed a couple broken electrical outlets replaced, a dog door repaired, a leaky shower head fixed, the bottom seal on a garage door replaced, and the garage power washed. I would definitely use them again. It saved me a lot of effort in trying to coordinate several different vendors to take care of the various tasks.
