Tommy Young launched Young Electric to provide electrical services in Waco, Woodway, Hewitt, Lorena, McGregor, Crawford, and adjacent areas. Our focus is on timely and professional service! No task is too minor! We are accredited by the Better Business Bureau. Fully licensed, bonded, and insured.

Tommy Young, the Owner and President of Young Electric, began his journey in the electrical field as an apprentice in 1999. He achieved the Apprentice of the Year award four times in five years while in trade school. After receiving his Journeyman license in 2002, he managed various projects as the Foreman for a prominent electrical contractor in Central Texas.

Projects included: Baylor University Flats Dorms, Summit Dental Lab, Doris Miller YMCA, Loop 340 Lipsitz Scrap Yard, and Glen Rose Elementary HVAC Renovation.

In 2007, he started estimating and earned his Master License in 2008. Master Electrician # 169318

As a Project Manager/Estimator, he directed many projects including:

MCC Emergency Services Center, several Waco ISD projects; Waco ISD Admin Building renovations, Veteran Field lighting renovations, Viking Hills HVAC, and Carver Middle School Lighting & HVAC

Dawson School, Pleasant Olive Baptist Church, Dr. Thrasher Dental Office, Genco Federal Credit Union, L-3 Fabric Hangar, Baylor Crasar Labs, and Baylor BEC Tommy has worked in the electrical field since 1999. Starting as an apprentice, he worked his way up to achieve his Master's License in 2008.
