Tommy Young, the Owner and President of Young Electric, began his journey in the electrical field as an apprentice in 1999. He was recognized as Apprentice of the Year four out of five years during his electrical trade school. In 2002, he earned his Journeyman license and oversaw many projects as the lead Foreman for a major electrical contractor in Central Texas.

Projects included: Baylor University Flats Dorms, Summit Dental Lab, Doris Miller YMCA, Loop 340 Lipsitz Scrap Yard, and Glen Rose Elementary HVAC Renovation.

He began estimating in 2007 and achieved his Master License in 2008. Master License # 169318

As a Project Manager/Estimator, he directed many projects including:

MCC Emergency Services Center, various Waco ISD projects; Waco ISD Admin Building Renovations, Waco ISD Veteran Field Lighting Renovation, Viking Hills HVAC, Carver Middle School Lighting & HVAC

Dawson School, Pleasant Olive Baptist Church, Dr. Thrasher Dental Office, Genco Federal Credit Union, L-3 Fabric Hangar, Baylor Crasar Labs, Baylor BEC Tommy has worked in the electrical field since 1999. Starting as an apprentice, he worked his way up to achieve his Master's License in 2008.
