Tommy Young, who leads Young Electric, started his electrical career as an apprentice in 1999. He was recognized as Apprentice of the Year four out of five years during his electrical trade school. He obtained his Journeyman license in 2002 and led numerous projects as the Foreman for one of Central Texas's largest electrical contractors.

He has worked on projects such as Baylor University Flats Dorms, Summit Dental Lab, Doris Miller YMCA, Loop 340 Lipsitz Scrap Yard, and Glen Rose Elementary HVAC Renovation.

He began estimating in 2007 and achieved his Master License in 2008. ME# 169318

As a Project Manager/Estimator, he oversaw numerous projects including:

MCC Emergency Services Center, multiple Waco ISD projects; renovations at Waco ISD Admin Building, lighting renovations at Waco ISD Veteran Field, Viking Hills HVAC, and Carver Middle School Lighting & HVAC

Dawson School, Pleasant Olive Baptist Church, Dr. Thrasher Dental Office, Genco Federal Credit Union, L-3 Fabric Hangar, Baylor Crasar Labs, and Baylor BEC Since 1999, Tommy has been involved in the electrical industry. Starting as an apprentice, he progressed to obtain his Master's License in 2008.
