Steve Wong completed his Electrical Engineering degree in 1978. At the age of 22, he identified the potential to start his own electrical business and secure a contractor's license. “It was the right moment,” says Wong. “My family's friends were expanding their businesses and needed electrical work, just like I had done for my family's farm, which helped me build a customer base.”. Trust came from my family connections, and my Chinese language skills helped in communication. With the growth in Santa Clara Valley during the 1980s, Wong shifted his office to Palo Alto and today leads a team of more than 70. Steve Wong has gained recognition throughout the contracting sector in the valley, catering to a diverse clientele from Fortune 500 firms to smaller developers.
