Non responsive. I haven't heard back from a follow up on a job in months. I was told parts needed to be ordered and yet no follow through. Don't waste your time!

We requested a quote to replace old fluorescent lights in the kitchen with can lights. The quote was accepted and they gave a window of dates that were available within the next month. A date was agreed upon, the workers came out, as agreed, on time and ready to work: removing the existing wood frame and lights, determining the best location for the new lights and installing the 5 new can lights. They were efficient and cleaned up and removed the old materials. The only issue was repair to the ceiling, which we were told that they did not do. We found a drywall repair company to do that repair. Would use Winters Electric again.

these guys have a limited amount of expertise. They could not fix my issues with electrical receptacles. Although you could probably call on them if you need a lightbulb replaced or need help hanging Christmas lights.

Winters Electric did an awesome job on our home. We had them install a chandelier and change all of our recessed lighting to more energy efficient lighting. They were clean, completed the job on time and were all around awesome. They also had great recommendations for future upgrades. Jovan and his team did an amazing job and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for an electrician.

Wonderful experience with Winter Electric! I had to gut my entire house due to it flooded and the guys from Winters came and handled everything, including making sure my house was safe during the construction work.

Over all, super happy with what they did and how their office made the impossible possible when I needed them to come out ""right now"" to get things figured out.

Thanks Dan, Samantha and Scott and everyone else that was involved in my crazy project!

Requested a couple of lighting repairs in two bedrooms. Ended up needing a new switch in one. Never had a chance to choose the type (not what we wanted). Repairman did not review the work completed. Office will not provide a statement for the work.

I assume they correctly did the work requested. We're selling our home in Tahoe and the electrical plugs needed to be changed out. My complaint is that they left a mess. They unscrewed the plates and just dropped the screws on the ground. Any cut wires, small metal bits etc, all just dropped on the floor. Guess what? The vacuum doesn't pick them up. Had to go around and pick them all up by hand, but a lot blended into the carpet and couldn't be seen. Pretty sure it blew up my new Shark vacuum, because it finally stopped working. I was not happy!!

I would rate this company at 1/2star if it was an option. My mom is 80yrs old and disabled. Her home is not in the best condition or cleanliness. This is why I am trying to get it repaired. This company came out the other day and started the job. The tech said he couldn't do the job himself and said I would have to reschedule for another day when his assistant was with him. They were supposed to come back out this morning(3/5/18) and had told me they had another emergency they had to take care of and couldn't return to my home till the end of March. I am in a time crunch with my financial lender and can not wait a solid month. So I started calling around and found another company. Shortly there after my lender called me and told me he had received a bill from thus company for 2hours of service. My lender as well as myself are not going to pay for services rendered for an incomplete job.
I strongly recommend that you look other places for a company that will come and do the job hired for that will look past the end of their nose when it comes to location and condition of your home. Especially if you have aging parents that need help.

If there was a ""zero"" star, I would select it. My horror story with this group started in September. They quoted to install heat tape and electrical circuits. I specifically required, before work commence, that the heat tape be controllable remotely with a smart device. They said it could. After they put the heat tape up, they then informed me it could not be controlled remotely, so I stopped work and contacted the ""boss"" Tim Treat. He said it could be connected when I returned in December with a simple device that plugs into the outlet they wire for the electrical. After I left town, though, they came when no one was here, wired it incorrectly, and sent me a $2,000 invoice. When I complained, they said they had to do the connection now, but a simple plug in of the smart device to the new outlet in December, when snowfall starts, would do what they promised. But, it turns out, they didn't even put an outlet in the front, so there is nowhere to plug anything in. And, they didn't even connect the tape in back to the electrical panel--instead, plugged it into a dead receptacle, although the cost of the job expressly included providing the electrical circuit. I went by the office to complain, they said they would not fix their mistakes and they told me to get out or they would call police.

If this is what you are looking for from an electrician--false promises and installations that don't work--followed by ""so sue me"" responses, this is then the outfit for you.

I have used Winters since 2009 and have found them very reliable, reasonably priced and efficient. I have a place 30 minutes from SLT. They do not have a problem coming up there. They have put in GFI outlets, replaced the electrical box, put in new lines for a dryer and oven, among a few of the larger projects.
They were not available once when I had an emergency. I called Gary Lowe's Electric. He came out and said all this stuff was wrong. He said he replaced two light switches (he did not). He put a hole in the wall and said he had to run a new line. He charged an outrageous amount (around $800.00). After he came out, part of the electrical (lights and outlets/ receptacles) were not working. He came back out and said it was a fuse and charge me $180.00 to come out and replace it. This is right after he came out and did the repair. Like the fuse (in the new electrical box) was not his fault. I had other guests visit and THE PROBLEM WAS STILL NOT FIXED. I called Gary numerous times and he said he was sick; he said he was in a car accident; he said his car was broken; he said he had a bad heart....
I finally called Winter's Electric again and a nice new guy, who was very professional, from Colorado (forgot his name; he's come out since then) came out. He replaced the switches (which he said looked original and showed me) and said there really was not a problem. The switches are connected to the receptacles and a GFI was tripped. So, Gary Lowe charge me tons of money without fixing the problem.
Winter's guy also replaced other receptacles that looked old to use up the whole hour of his time.
I seriously love Winter's and hope the care and professionalism I have received doesn't waver.
