I am selling a rental and had a friend help me install outlets and switches, bad mistake, some didn't work and the kitchen ceiling light had no current. I contacted Tim at WHEYLAND Electric through Yelp. I'm sure I'm like most people and go with the first call. Tim was not only the first call, he was the only one on a Sunday, everyone else reached out Monday which is fine but just by this he stood out from the rest. He met me at the rental yesterday, had the kitchen light working in the first 5 minutes, checked every outlet and switch and installed where needed. All with a friendly smile, he really enjoys his work, good to see. He was gone in the 2 hours he promised and for the first estimate he provided. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. I'm not really sure why, but my luck with this company is terrible. I had requested a quote from this company because of the raving great reviews. The quote for the project sounded fine and I worked to schedule a time. I confirmed over email. Day of appointment, I got a no show. I worked with Vanessa to reschedule. On the date of the rescheduled appointment, Tim called and said he couldn't come out because of a missing part and rescheduled for the following week. I sent an email the day before the again rescheduled to confirm and got a confirmation. Again, day of appointment 40 minutes passed the agreed time, still no show. I called Tim and he said he didn't have my number to call me, but he was on a project that ran over from the day before. Ummm? I can't figure out why I keep getting no shows and others are praising great reviews. My project is similar to other reviews - installing an outlet to charge my EV.
