Tim and his helper installed two ceiling fans for me and they did an outstanding JOB!! I am so happy! Everything was done neatly and perfect, just like I wanted them. Tim is great to communicate with and really listens to you and what you want...I would hire him again for any electric job in the future!!

I haven't even USED this guy and I love him! Called about some strange electrical issues -- garage door, bathroom outlets not working. He suggested there might be a GFI in garage tripped and they're all in-line. Sure enough. I reset it, works like a charm, saved myself $75. Thanks Tim.

Since we moved to San Diego, Tim has been one of a short list of contractors we hit a home run with. He's very reliable, provides straight forward assessments of what is needed (without adding anything unnecessary), and sticks to the script. We have used him for two separate jobs so far and have been very satisfied on both occasions.

I own a business in Carlsbad and needed someone to fix an electrical problem. I called Tim early in the morning and he called me right back. He was able to come out that morning and do the work before we got busy with clients. He was very professional and went above and beyond to take care of our problem. in the interests of full disclosure, TIM WHEYLAND is my friend. the irony of that is that knowing TIM makes a good review from me more reliable not less. i'm a serious butt head and would not write something praising his company if i didn't know every word was true. if i was disappointed in his work, i would probably not write a review at all but would certainly give him grief until forever -- maybe longer.

my dad used to say that you can tell who your friends are 'cause they're the ones that stab you in the front. in my case (since i seriously took my father's words to heart) that usually means stabbing repeatedly.

fortunately, TIM did a bang up job and so neither of us had to go thru that.

the wife and i (okay, mostly the wife) contacted WHEYLAND ELECTRIC to take out a hideous dining room chandelier we inherited when we bought the place. the plan was to replace that with can lighting and a dimmer switch.

TIM showed up as promised and did great work in a timely manner. everything as promised. great job. highly recommended.

my dad used to joke that when the PEARLY GATES broke down it took forever to get them fixed 'cause PETER had to go to HELL to find a contractor. well, if the problem's in some far, far distant future when TIM WHEYLAND's shuffled off his mortal coil, at least PETER wouldn't have to look so far to find a great electrician.

I've been renovating my house for the last few weeks and in order to save money I decided to forgo a contractor and coordinate all the subcontractors myself. You know where this story is going don't you? So I had a couple of walls knocked down and assumed that the same guy knew how to move the electrical. Well...he didn't.

Cue Tim. He listened as I tried to explain to what I needed to get done as well as my time constraints. He was able to come by the next day and give me a quote on the job as well as answer a million other random questions I had about other potential projects. He had jobs the day I needed him to start but he managed to squeeze me in and even stayed late to finish the job in one day! And, he even came in under his original quote. Tim is such a honest and trustworthy guy that does great work as well. Don't hesitate to give him a call for any of your electrical needs!
