I recently purchased an old...old...old house. With it came a whole bunch of issues. Natalie came out to provide her bid and was very honest with me about what needed to be done immediately and what could wait (as I was on a budget after the house purchase). Not only will she be honest with you but she will do GREAT WORK!. She was able to identify all the breakers and leave notes identifying what they turned on and off. I put her to the test with my old house and nothing was too much for her to handle. Can't say enough good things about Valencia Electric.

Natalie is a consummate professional and I always felt very comfortable with her, whether she was working on her own while I was at work (via a lockbox key) or while I was typing away on the keyboard in the front room. Natalie even came in huge when the delivery men bringing my stove nearly electrocuted themselves when not plugging it in correctly.

I still have some items on my list to take care of once I get more cash...like the nob and tube wiring in the attic......and will 100% call Valencia Electric for the work. I have now found MY electrician! No need to look any further....Natalie is the best!!

Natalie is awesome! I was super nervous about mounting a TV over our fireplace, but she did a beautiful job! She's very responsive, punctual, and helpful. She explained everything about what she was doing and found the cleanest way to install the TV. Thanks Natalie!

We will hire her again and refer her to everyone we know. She not only mounted our TVs but also a cabinet on the wall to hold all of the equipment. We are renters so can't do in-wall wire hiding, no problem, she brought the exact equipment we needed to hide the wires between the TV and the cabinet, and the cabinet to the outlets. It looks FANTASTIC.

She's also friendly, smart and considerate (she covered her boots everytime she came into the apartment). I watched as she measured everything at least twice before making a move, and she doubled up the hardware for the cabinet to make sure it was extremely sturdy. We are more than extremely happy with the job she did!

I needed a soundbar installed on my TV which is mounted on the wall over the Fireplace. I emailed Natalie and she gave me a quote for the service. She was very punctual, professional and fair. She actually charged me less than she quoted as she did not to have to uninstall the TV. I was very pleased with the service.

Great experience having my pottery kiln wired with Valencia Electric! Natalie was responsive, professional, and did a very tidy job. She came out to give me a quote right away when other electricians spent lots of time on the phone asking me questions that they could answer much more easily with a quick visit. When the estimate looked out of my range, Natalie explained that the specialty cable for the kiln was very pricey (and I needed 70' of it) but she helped me find a cheaper source, as well as giving me the appropriate specs so I could look for it second hand online since I was really trying to cut costs. Another electrician told me I had to source the cable entirely myself, and he couldn't even tell me what I needed; it was practically impossible to know what to look for.

The cherry on top: Natalie got the job done faster than anticipated, and in the pouring rain. Thank you Natalie! I'll certainly be coming back next time I need an electrician.

""As good as it gets"", indeed! First house and in two years I've tried countless handy-persons and electricians with a variety of jobs. I always dread the search, because inevitably the person that comes out does not so stellar work. Well, no longer will I need to dread calling an electrician!!

* Natalie rocked our wold when she transformed our ten canister lights to beautiful LED lights that'll last 20 years: they look awesome and up to date now.

* She exchanged several of our standard outlets for those that now include USB ports -- WOOT! Ease of use increased drastically around here.

* We had a plug that had no power to it..like literally, it was a dummy plug: nothing had ever been run to it! She rocked that out and now it is functional and fantastic.

* A bedroom had a single plug so she ran an entire new line and added a plug in there for us across the room: so thankful to have it there.

* We had two people ""fix"" a fixture only to have it not work within a week so we talked about it, looked it over, and instead she put in a new fixture that I like so much more: the Edison bulb is perfect for our CA bungalow.

* We were having issues with our internet speed so she troubleshot that with our provider directly, and we all three came up with a plan which she executed perfectly -- no more slow speeds and I took her suggestion to get a signal extender for the back porch, providing us with lovely afternoons online and in the sun all at once :)

At this point, I am almost TRYING to find electrical needs just so I can get a second taste of contractor after-glow. It's a first for me, and I'm thankful to her for renewing my faith in not only electricians, but home maintenance support at large!

The short review, Natalie from Valencia Electric is FANTASTIC. Would I recommend her? Absolutely! If you're looking for an electrician that's responsive, competent, incredibly hardworking, honest and fair, you've found her.

The long review, I first met Natalie when I needed to make sure my dishwasher connection was up to code and on its own circuit before my new dishwasher could be installed. My previous electrician told me that it wasn't. I contacted a handful of electricians and, lucky for me, Natalie was the first to respond. When Natalie arrived for the appointment, within a few minutes, she determined that the dishwasher was already on its own circuit and showed me. She didn't charge me for this visit and I asked her for some estimates for items on my ""to-do"" list for electrical work. Within a day, Natalie sent me the estimates via email.

On a side note, only AFTER the appointment with Natalie did I hear from one other electrician regarding the dishwasher and the rest never responded.

Fast forward a month later, I was getting attic insulation and needed to get rid of the knob and tube wiring that still existed for parts of my home. I also wanted to take care of some of the other troubling electrical items. I contacted Natalie and she was on it right away, responding to me promptly and making the appointment. She replaced all of my knob and tube wiring which was quite extensive, installed individual circuits for my washing machine and refrigerator, installed a new light fixture, and fixed the connection for my ceiling fan/light.

The previous electricians/owner had my furnace, washing machine, refrigerator, all lights, an outlet, the doorbell transformer and garage door ALL on the same circuit. Scary! Natalie straightened this all out.

Natalie was methodical, communicative, confident, and super diligent in her approach. I was amazed by her work ethic and even happier with the results of her work. I now have peace of mind about the electrical safety in my home and Natalie has definitely earned her place as my go-to electrician.

I requested a comprehensive quote, parts and work, for a given task. I received a paper saying : the job will be done for X dollars. It was not the cheapest quote, but it was the only quote that was not trying to leave room for charging me extra afterewards. I called to schedule, everything was done on time and professionally, and I wrote a check for the exact amount as agreed. This is the kind of contractor that is hard to find in the Bay area. Ms. Valencia did an extremely good job.
