The short review, Natalie from Valencia Electric is FANTASTIC. Would I recommend her? Absolutely! If you're looking for an electrician that's responsive, competent, incredibly hardworking, honest and fair, you've found her.

The long review, I first met Natalie when I needed to make sure my dishwasher connection was up to code and on its own circuit before my new dishwasher could be installed. My previous electrician told me that it wasn't. I contacted a handful of electricians and, lucky for me, Natalie was the first to respond. When Natalie arrived for the appointment, within a few minutes, she determined that the dishwasher was already on its own circuit and showed me. She didn't charge me for this visit and I asked her for some estimates for items on my ""to-do"" list for electrical work. Within a day, Natalie sent me the estimates via email.

On a side note, only AFTER the appointment with Natalie did I hear from one other electrician regarding the dishwasher and the rest never responded.

Fast forward a month later, I was getting attic insulation and needed to get rid of the knob and tube wiring that still existed for parts of my home. I also wanted to take care of some of the other troubling electrical items. I contacted Natalie and she was on it right away, responding to me promptly and making the appointment. She replaced all of my knob and tube wiring which was quite extensive, installed individual circuits for my washing machine and refrigerator, installed a new light fixture, and fixed the connection for my ceiling fan/light.

The previous electricians/owner had my furnace, washing machine, refrigerator, all lights, an outlet, the doorbell transformer and garage door ALL on the same circuit. Scary! Natalie straightened this all out.

Natalie was methodical, communicative, confident, and super diligent in her approach. I was amazed by her work ethic and even happier with the results of her work. I now have peace of mind about the electrical safety in my home and Natalie has definitely earned her place as my go-to electrician.

I requested a comprehensive quote, parts and work, for a given task. I received a paper saying : the job will be done for X dollars. It was not the cheapest quote, but it was the only quote that was not trying to leave room for charging me extra afterewards. I called to schedule, everything was done on time and professionally, and I wrote a check for the exact amount as agreed. This is the kind of contractor that is hard to find in the Bay area. Ms. Valencia did an extremely good job.

I needed to install a wink relay to control two sets of outdoor lights. There was a small complication as it meant modifying 3 different switches, two of which were we 3 ways that had to be converted to simple on off switches. I called Williams electric which is very close to my house leaving a detailed explanation; no return call. Then I tried another highly rated company who said they could do it but kept putting off coming by. I finally found Valencia and Natalie listened to my explanation and said she was confident it would be no problem. She was courteous, efficient, inexpensive and fearless. I would call her back in a minute!

I had a great experience today with
the licensed electrician that i hired.
The company is Valencia Electric, Inc.
The owner, Natalie Valencia, was very honest, professional, prompt, friendly,
and neat.

Over the last several years, my kitchen and bedroom lights kept going out.
I thought i had serious electrical problems; but instead, I only needed to replace the fixtures-
Natalie offered to go get the fixtures or to have me pick them out at the local store.
I decided to pick out what i wanted.

Also, she replaced the motion detector light bulb that was broken by vandals last month.
I thought i would have to replace the entire motion detector; but, she saved me money by simply replacing the bulb.

I found Natalie off Amazon local deals for a buddy's restaurant (which has since folded) whose outlets were constantly on the fritz- seriously the lights and registers went on and off so often, the customers cracked jokes that we had a damned poltergeist in the fuse box. As my friend and I are so technically inept we can barely manage to change the damned ringtone on our smartphones, we got her over and long rambling story short: not only was Natalie prompt and professional, she was patient; and for us that makes all the difference.

I'm not going to pretend I understood what went wrong, what she did to make it right, but I appreciate the courtesy she showed us, taking the time to carefully and clearly explain to obvious technophobes how even if we understood nothing else, that the problem was fixed, and Natalie's card has a place of honor in my rolodex (yes I have a rolodex with the cracked plastic and the grease-printed index card, and no I don't know or care how to use google contacts).

I'll be using Natalie for all my personal and future commercial electrical needs- and if you're also needing the gremlins screwing with your lighting excised- you KNOW who you gonna call!?

Greatest experience with an electrician ever!
Natalie took care of my list of several projects excellently including but not limited to, installing a digital remote control unit and wall switch for the ceiling fan, and moving power and cabling for an articulating wall mount TV to hide wiring and still allow the mount to snug up close to the wall.
She was efficient and professional, and a joy to work with. I have already recommended her to several friends, and she is the one I'll call whenever I need help again.

I've called Natalie Valencia on two separate occasions for jobs that I couldn't handle and I won't hesitate to call her in the future - regardless of the size of the job. The most recent job was finding a short that caused all of the outlets in the office to not work. I absolutely recommend Valencia electric and Natalie's work. She installed an outdoor 110 outlet in my front yard and it works perfectly. She was honest, efficient, and timely. We communicated over email, on the phone, by text, and in person. She made the whole process easy and transparent. She blew other electricians I talked to out of the water because she really knows her stuff. I can now use an electric mower, power tools, and charge my electric car if I want to. She was available within the week. Where other electricians never showed up, she got the job done ahead of schedule. The only confusion was over timing of the final install because she came sooner than expected. But who doesn't want their job done sooner?
