Back for another great review for United Plumbing Heating Air & Electric. This time my Dad had a new heater installed in his home. The original 50+ year old heater was turned off by SDG&E five years ago due to a cracked fire box. So my Dad was relying on portable heaters to keep warm. Johnny C. and Sal from United came out to remove the old heater and put in new insulated air ducts. The process took the whole day and they did a great job. Johnny returned the following day to connect the heater and get it up and running. The new heater is quiet and it heats up the house much quicker now. A HUGE thank you to Johnny and Sal for their hard work and numerous times climbing into the attic. And a HUGE thank you to Johnny for his great customer service and sense of humor. He kept my father, sister, and I updated on the installation, provided instructions on the new heater, and is a all-around nice guy. We definitely will be calling Johnny back for yearly check-ups on the heater.

Ryan came out to our house on time. He inspected the electrical panel and found the faulty circuit breaker to our master bedroom. He proceeded to explain how the electrical load works within the panel and outlets and gave us good news from his inspection that only the master bedroom circuit breaker needed replacement. He replaced the circuit breaker and power was quickly restored in our master bedroom. Ryan is very knowledgeable and took the time to help me understand what was going on with everything he was doing and why. You need to promote this guy. He has excellent customer service skills, has good working knowledge of what he is doing and why, and has an overall great demeanor. I will definitely use their s21 again thanks to Ryan.

I called them on Thursday the 19th and they said someone would come out today, Monday the 23rd, from noon to 2. I waited around and they didn't come. I called at 2 for an update and they said the plumber called in sick but nobody had called me to tell me. Now after waiting 4 days, I have to call someone reliable and wait more time without using my kitchen sink or dishwasher. I will never use this company again.

Our electrical panels needed upgrades, and we needed new circuits. Curtis was punctual, professional, thorough, and and knowledgable about all things electrical. He took the time to explain everything, and we could not be happier with his work. (If that were not enough, he is a cheerful, engaging, and intelligent person to work with!) We highly recommend United for any electrical jobs.

I had three outlets stop working on Labor Day weekend and the breaker wasn't tripped. I was worried about fire risk so I called at 9 am and they came out the same day at noon. The technician was fantastic! He was friendly, helpful, and SO educational! I feel like he really understood what was going on with my wiring overall, and he taught me a lot of things about the system. Had to pay a weekend service charge, but I feel like I had great service and got my money's worth (plus a HUGE peace of mind!)

I had the pleasure of having Alfredo Garcia work on my AC unit. He was very professional and got the job done quickly and didn't leave a mess for me to clean up afterwards.

They replaced the duct work since my home was initially designed for only a heater (like most homes in San Diego) and he put in a few more vents as well. Now I feel ready for the Summer!
