United was sent out to us by our home warranty company when our AC stopped cooling. The techs were super nice and knowledgeable and didn't try to push any additional unnecessary services. We ended up needing to have work done that wasn't covered, but it was well worth it for the nice cold air now blowing out of our vents. The only issue I had was with their scheduling. I had to take time off work to be home between 3 and 5 for them to come, but they didn't show up until 7:30pm. The second visit was scheduled for between 9 and 11am and they showed but at 1:30. All in all, I would recommend United as long as you can be flexible with your schedule!

My air conditioner went out and I called United Plumbing Heating Air & Electric. Not only did they repair my air conditioning within 24 hours for a reasonable price, Lorenzo helped me understand somem inefficiencies within my system and helped me improve my airflow to cool my house quicker, quieter and save me money. Phenomenal service. Highly recommend.

This is a review about more than just the quality of their service. As you can see from their service reviews, their work speaks for it self, it is professional grade work done by professional grade workers, but I got more than just that from United.

In April of 2012 I had LED can lights put in to my living room and several wall mounted lights wired in my garage. It was not that major of a job, but for my family, it was pretty major. As an added bonus, James, my electrician, said he would help me personally put some lights up in my closet as long as I bought the materials. By the time the other two projects were done, there was just not enough time left in the day and I was told he would come back the following week and do it.

Well that week came and went and time got lost, there were a couple of miscommunications and the next thing you know it is almost a year and a half later.

My wife and I were expecting a baby any minute so I found the receipt and called them up to try and get it done before the baby came. I want to remind you, this is something James was doing out of his own good nature and said that United like to help their customers out where they could. The next thing you know, my baby came early and we were scrambling to get everything wrapped up.

James understood the severity of our situation and came on his day off to take care of the problem. I cannot speak highly enough about Robert and James handling this situation with class and professionalism. I now have a perfectly lit babies closet and would recommend United to all of my friends and family members. I want to personally thank you guys for helping make parenthood just a little bit easier on us.

Reasonable Prince and great Service. I called they were able to send someone within a few hours to check out the Problem, I thought they would come diagnose and set up an appointment, but they came and offered to fix it the same day! Very convenient. I do have to take off 1 star due to some trouble the original person who came had with fixing the problem, However they called in Mario who was great. Knew exactly how to fix the problem, and was very professional. I would def recommend United, I know I will be using them again next time.

I called United Plumbing for a plumber, since I was already using a United electrician that same day. I waited within the time frame, then called
again. The dispatcher said the plumber was on his way. An hour later the plumber shows up to fix a 6-year old 'clean' kitchen faucet, leaking water from the handle. I already had a new valve if the plumber needed it. After close to an hour, the plumber, after installing the new valve, said the faucet was still leaking near the top of the valve and the cold water hose-screw at one end was bent and would cause some leakage.
""How did it get bent?"" I would ""need to order a new hose or I could purchase a new faucet"". I didn't know what to do. The plumber mentioned ""he could not guarantee that the faucet would not leak, even with the new hose."" The order would take a few days OR a new faucet would cost a couple of hundred dollars more, but I would have it same day.
The plumber took the faucet out after I thought I could purchase a new one, not knowing what to do. He charged me $165 for the service call and not fixing the leak.
'IF' I purchased a new faucet for an addtitional $200 'out-of-MY-pocket' money he would come back and charge me an additional $175 to install the new faucet. I just could not afford a new faucet, plus the excess plumbing bills.
This ordeal would have cost me $540 plus tax for a faucet leak if I continued to use United. I felt I was being ripped off again for a task I did not know how to fix myself.
I had a faucet leak the previous year and it was a 15-20-minute job for $75 accomplished by another plumber. I thought that was a reasonable price.
I was beside my self and thinking about all this money going out to United Plumbing for a simple faucet leak and not having a kitchen faucet at all for three or four days.
I called the manufacturer with a voice of dismay. AND I WAS DISMAYED!
My faucet was in parts in the sink and I was hoping that all the parts were there!
I felt a huge weight lifed off me, and thanked the customer service person with much gratitude after they said a new faucet was on its way.
I mentioned that I had rarely good luck doing business with plumbers, since many are dishonest. She gave me the number of a plumber familiar with the brand the company manufactured.
I called this plumbiing company and they will for far less money install a new faucet for me. I won't use United again.

Make sure you check other companies. United is overpriced and they need to be watched when they work to guarantee what they charge you for is what was done. I was told by a reputable electrician that the work I overpaid for was not done. It was an $800.00 lesson!

Ok so united electric did it again!! I used these guys on my rental at the Venetian when my tenant complained of a funny burning smell. The technician found a burnt outlet right next to the bed!!! They where fast and efficient and now my tenant is safe and so is my condo! Thanks James!

Incredible. Trustworthy. The worker showed up (from Rancho Penasquitos area), looked at the problem, and told me, ""I can show you how to fix this on your own. If I do it it will cost you way too much."" He gave me some helpful advice and instructions and was on his way. It was just as simple as he said. How many businesses do this these days? Similar experience to Brent. I wish I would have listened to his review. I tried using them for a rental property. Communication with them was really bad. I guess they thought my tenant would call me and explain the details.

Technician eventually showed up, tried to sell me a new heater for $2K. I told him to fix it, he eventually relented and said he could get it fixed for $400 once he had the part, in about a week. Several weeks later, the tech is back onsite, but it's not fixed. The tenant called me, but no contact from UP. I called UP and they said they would get back to me. Never called back.

At this point, I gave up.

Prompt next day service, when no one else was available for a week or two! Arrived on time and polite. Tech was cute too, always a plus! Paid more then expected but then again didn't expect my thermostat to be broken. I liked that the tech didn't try to up-sale me on the thermostats he had available. Gave me the price and the difference and allowed me to make my own decision. Will do business again!
