STOP!!! I GIVE ZERO STARS!
GO LOOK AND FIND A RELIABLE COMPANY...

You know I started to write a long very long review about this company but decided not to waste my time...go find a reputable company...this company is the worst...in a nutshell it took them two (2) months to order the part for my bathroom exhaust fan and install a new one (which the technician mentions that they just went to buy it from ""Home Dept"") he installed it and comes out to say it's fixed and walked out thinking he's going to his truck for paper work and while I go check to see if it works properly (which it took a while to start up) I find a mess that wasn't there before when I went out to get him to come back to clean up his mess and ask why it takes so long to start, he was gone!!! No good-bye just it's fixed! I blame my home warranty company for choosing the worst company for the job, and by all the other reviews I read you can see...Please don't give them any more business and avoid the headache and raising your blood pressure...

Totally unreliable. A no-show for our appointment after taking the afternoon off work. No call, no follow-up from them. Called the next day to find out what happened and if I could get rescheduled as I already had two weeks invested into waiting for their service call. Was cut off and had to call back several times before speaking to the office manager who said she would find out what happened...still no follow-up response, and they don't answer their phone. Don't waste your time.
No wonder they only receive 2.5/5 stars.

These guys were sent by my home warranty company, American Home Shield. The guy spends 5 minutes here, barely even looks at the problem and then decides that it's a circuit overload without even taking the time to find the real issue. AHS denied the claim. I then hired my own electrician and it turns out that it was a bad bus bar that caused the issue, not a circuit overload. Now I'm fighting my home warranty company because of these incompetent electricians.

If I could give them negative stars, I would. My pool heater stopped working in December 2021, and I have an American Home Shield (AHS) warranty so I started a claim. Turner Electric called the same day to schedule a technician to come out about a week later. The tech came out and said the control unit was ""probably"" the issue and he would order a new one. 3 weeks later I get a call from Turner Electric to schedule a date for the new controller to be installed. So far, so good. I wasn't able to be home during the week and they don't work weekends, so I left my side gate open for the tech to let himself in and replace the faulty unit. Later that day I get an email from AHS that my claim is now refused due to evidence of rats. When I got home, I looked in the control unit and there weren't any rats, but around the back side, there was what looked like a very old rat next, nowhere near the control unit. This company looks for any excuse possible to deny a claim so they get paid by AHS. I've called them multiple times to get an explanation, the receptionist claims the tech will call me back, but they never do.

SCAM!!!

My original review was 1 star. I am changing it to 3. If I could separate their receptiodministration from their electricians and technicians, I would.

My home warranty company scheduled through Turner Electrical & Lighting to fix my electrical outlets in my kitchen. I was excited because they called the next day. They didn't have any appointments that worked with my schedule for 3 weeks; so, we scheduled out. They called the Friday before my Monday appointment to confirm and left a message. I called back to confirm and the lady told me I didn't have to and they would be there between 11 and 3. I had scheduled for 9 am. No problem. I figured I just misunderstood.

On Monday, they didn't show. I called at 3:10 pm to follow-up and they did not answer. I left a voicemail. I called again at 9 am the next morning and left another voicemail. After not receiving a call back, I called my home warranty company. They also tried to reach Turner Electrical and were not successful.

My home warranty was looking for to do the job and Turner Electrical finally called back. The receptionist told me they were out on too many ""emergencies"" and were too busy to call me, but their electrician would be in my area in the next 30 minutes and I was the ""first priority.""

The technician did not arrive for another 3 hours.

The technician, however, was kind, knowledgeable, and fast. He fixed the problem in a very short time and went above and beyond. I am very grateful.
He is the reason the stars improved.

We submitted a claim with our home warranty and once we've had to pay out of pocket because never heard from turner electrical and the second time I had to plead with them to send another company. We're still waiting for our warranty company send another contractor. Thanks Turner Electrical for the no response. At least call and say we received your messages. Professional curtesy is not too much to ask for.

This place is a joke. It's either staffed by amateur part timers or they have no clue what they are doing. Pray to whomever you pray to that you never have to work with them through a home warranty or for emergency service. Hire the kid down the street to get better work and service.

I am a member of American Home Shield and I ordered a switch repair and they sent me to Turner Electrical and Lighting. I was contacted and scheduled by Turner the next business day. When my appointment day arrived they sent Devlin and he came in and said he was going to replace the faulty switch. I thought great! However, the switch was different (it was almond colored and rectangular) our wall panel was for oval white outlets and switches. I told him that he needed to at least replace the oval outlet with a rectangular one so they would match. He went to his truck to look for one and the he found one, but the only color he had was white! And he didn't have either color wall plate for the rectangular switch or outlet.
So this is what I was left with an unfinished job.

Very disappointing from both Turner electrical and American Home Warranty!!
